Ms. Henderson also wrote communications materials, conducted media relations training, and assisted in orchestrating the successful open house of OAI's new $10 million facility.

Marketing the Heart Services of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare
MRH Public Relations was recently tapped to assist in planning and executing a marketing communications plan for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare's Cardiovascular Care Center. Over a seven-month period, Mary Roberts Henderson orchestrated media relations initiatives and contributed to the marketing efforts on behalf of the Center.
Mary also completed two well-received brochures for the Cardiovascular Care Center, both of which were written for the physician audience. In addition to researching and writing about the cutting-edge heart treatments and innovative therapies offered at the Center, Mary supervised graphic design, photography, and printing. By establishing working relationships with the Center's heart specialists and support staff, MRH Public Relations was able to meet both tight publication deadlines and the Center's communication objectives.

As Manager of Communications for a two-hospital system, St. John Hospital of Cleveland and St. John & West Shore Hospital in Westlake, Ohio, Mary Roberts Henderson directed a communications campaign for the merger of the two institutions and managed internal and external communications, media relations, and multiple special events. Ms. Henderson participated in the development and marketing of healthcare services, including market research and advertising, as well as the hospital's fundraising efforts.
